Nathaniel Bassey Background

Nathaniel Bassey was brought into the world on the 27th of August 1978, to Mr and Mrs Bassey in Lagos State, however he hail from Ikot Ofon Ikono, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. His dad, Mr Joshua Bassey was a Pastor of the Apostolic Church, Bashua Assembly, who he drove an ardent christian home. Nathaniel Bassey Education

Nathaniel Bassey Music Career

Nathaniel Bassey began his music service in 1993. He grew up tuning in to loads of instrumentals, highlife, Jazz, to Rex Lawson, Louis Armstrong, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davies, and so on

While growing up, Nathaniel needed to be a super Jazz performer doing Afrocentric, Jazz, highlife and so forth Thus, he approached playing Jazz with his trumpet at gatherings and clubs, until his life story changed.

It had consistently been about the music for him until he got brought back to life and had an experience with God. It quit being about the music, and it turned into about knowing God, with the music as an instrument and a stage to show forward God's affection.
